Nerd Traveler, my collection of travel essays was published in July 2021 by Read Furiously. I have some book events coming up:
- May 4, 2022, at 6:30 at the Newtown Bookshop: I'll be reading from Nerd Traveler and sharing some of my inspirations and behind-the-scenes stories. You'll be able to purchase the book, gather up some swag, and grab some other yummy literary treats, too. I'll sign and personalize books, and don't forget: it makes a great gift!! I heard that a lot from readers who bought an extra copy around the holidays for a personalized gift for someone special. You got spring and summer birthdays? Uh huh. You itchin' to get out there and travel? Uh huh. This is the book. The Newtown Bookshop is at 2835 S. Eagle Road in Newtown (in the Village of Newtown Bookshop near Friends). May the 4th be with you!
- June 12, 2022, from 1:00-3:00 at the Moravian Bookshop in Bethlehem, PA: I can't wait to appear at this renowned book mecca with my Nerd Traveler. I'll be signing, answering questions, and chatting about travel writing. Why not make a day of it in this cute town and support the Travel Nerd?! Put this on your calendar now so that you can schedule around it. I promise if you've never been to Bethlehem you'll thank me for urging you to go: 428 Main St, Bethlehem, PA 18018
- July 9, 2022, from 2:00-4:00 at the Commonplace Reader in Yardley, PA: Come visit with me on the big porch and listen while I read some excerpts from Nerd Traveler and talk about inspiration, craft, and creativity. Yardley is another town you can spend the afternoon (or all day!) in. See the ducks by the lake, grab a bite to eat, and check out the shops. 49 South Main St, Yardley, PA.
- October 6, 2022, at 6:30 in the evening at Freeman Hall in Doylestown, PA: This is one of many occasional Literary Salons presented by the Arts & Cultural Council of Bucks County of which I am a board member! We are proud to call Freeman Hall, a grand old mansion, our headquarters. Come and here a collection of authors read, but also gaze at the exhibited art, the architecture, and the fantastic Henry Chapman Mercer tile fireplace. A plethora of fun and fine dining establishments is within walking distance. 181 East Court Street, Doylestown, PA 18901
